Galaxy has completed GHG accounting for FY 2024–25 according to ISO 14064-1:2018 and continues to implement energy conservation projects that reduce power and fuel consumption while improving efficiency. In FY 2024–25:

20.1% of total electricity consumption was sourced from renewable energy (solar & wind)
2,08,027 trees were planted, contributing to carbon sequestration and biodiversity enhancement

Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting

We have adopted Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) using the GaBi Tool to evaluate environmental impacts across a product’s lifecycle, from raw material extraction to disposal. So far, LCA has been completed for 43 products, following ISO 14040/44 standards. Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) studies cover over 90% of SKUs, calculated using Excel tools and the Ecoinvent v3.10 database.

Sustainable palm, responsible growth

Our palm oil supply chain is 99.6% traceable to mills and 56% traceable to plantations, fully RSPO-certified, and guided by NDPE principles. Through rigorous supplier audits, the GalSustain program, and transparent reporting, we protect forests, support communities, and reduce tCO₂e emissions, creating products that are responsible from source to shelf.
