Aarogya Vardheeni

A ripple of kindness, a wave of change

Through Aarogya Vardheeni, Galaxy champions the cause of accessible, affordable, and equitable healthcare. Our initiatives focus on improving health outcomes, enhancing hygiene practices, and uplifting the overall quality of life across rural and tribal regions. By fostering partnerships and community participation, we turn small acts of care into sustained, measurable impact.

Key Initiatives:

Health and Hygiene Infrastructure: Built toilets and handwashing stations, upgraded school sanitation blocks, focusing on female facilities to promote dignity and hygiene.
Preventive Healthcare Access: Established primary health centres, organised medical, gynaecological, and eye camps, conducted cataract surgeries, and provided vital medical equipment including mobile eye clinics and dialysis machines.
Awareness and Education: Led sessions on hand, oral, body, and menstrual hygiene, alongside anti-tobacco, and addiction awareness drives to build healthier habits.
Nutrition and Anaemia Support: Distributed nutritional kits to orphaned children, HIV patients, and expectant mothers, while implementing anaemia-reduction programs for tribal adolescents and vulnerable groups.

Safe Drinking Water: Installed water tanks and filters in schools and rural communities, ensuring access to clean, safe drinking water.
Blood Donation and Community Engagement: Conducted 75+ blood donation drives, collecting over 866 units through enthusiastic employee volunteerism.

Dhristi – An eye care project

Through Project Dhristi, Galaxy restored vision for 75 individuals in rural Palghar, transforming lives by making quality eye care accessible and affordable.

EDUCATION

Agarwadi School – Building spaces where learning thrives

By constructing seven new classrooms at Agarwadi School, Galaxy created a more inclusive, conducive learning environment for over 1,000 students in rural Maharashtra.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Project Ujjala – Powering learning through clean energy

Solar electrification of Zilla Parishad schools reduces outages, saves ₹80,000 annually, and cuts 9.4 tons CO₂—improving learning and promoting sustainable energy for communities.
