Project Ujjala – Powering learning through clean energy

Objective: To promote renewable energy and reduce carbon footprint by providing rooftop solar systems and solar streetlights to underserved communities, schools.

Project: To electrify Zilla parishad schools with solar energy.

Key Findings: All identified schools faces frequent power disruptions, impacting learning and absentees in school attendance.

Impact of the project:

• Reduction of 9.4 tons of CO2 through use of solar energy
• Saving annual electricity expenses of Rs. 80,000 for all 4 schools
